Wherever you are in your art journey, I will help you take your next steps in painting from life in oil - even if you’re a beginner. I will have a still life and subject prepared for us, will give a demonstration if needed and we will spend time painting together while I give guidance throughout class.

This is an ongoing class where my topics of instruction will be dependent on your needs. I may teach something to all if needed and then will spend time with you individually and your specific needs.

  • Easels, palettes, poppy seed oil medium and paint (if needed) will be provided. Please bring your own brushes and canvas/boards. Please do not bring turpentine or mineral spirits.

  • Classes will take place at my home in Horseheads New York and I will send you the full address after you’ve registered.

  • If you miss a class I can give you some extra time during your next class, but refunds will not be given for missed classes unless another student can be found to take your place.

  • Due to possible space limitations in the room there are currently only 2 openings per class. More openings may become available if I decide there is enough room or I may add more classes soon, so please join the waitlist below if this class is full and you’ll be first in line.
