Holding onto spring to keep us warm for the days ahead
I’m remembering the excitement of the fresh burst of colors and new life that spring brings to us all. But as time is passing into fall, it’s good to remember the warmth of these days and what their end also brings us.
Before the flowers fade, they were brilliant and gave life to our hearts. Now they give life to birds feasting on their seeds. Now they go back to the ground to bring new life next year.
Our little baby birds have grown into juveniles and preparing for their first fall and winter. The parents have done their laborious job in raising an nurturing the young ones who will take on the same tasks next year.
But just for a time, let’s take one more glance at the radiance and beauty they brought us. In this grouping of paintings, you will find spring represented by blooms and births and I hope you will be filled with thankfulness for the days we’ve enjoyed and be kept joyful by them in the days ahead.
