A commissioned painting is a life-long treasure. There will be no other piece of art like it because it’s created just for you and tailored to your preferences. Gift a commissioned painting to a loved one and they can be involved in the entire process to be sure the end result is perfect for them.

Book a Commission:

To book a commission, choose the month that I will be working on your painting by clicking in the drop down menu above. Pay the reservation deposit* by clicking on the shopping cart at the top of the page. This reservation deposit will later be applied to your balance. The final size, framing and subject matter of your painting can be decided later.

Your painting will be completed by the end of the month you reserve and should be shipped the first week of the following month. For instance, when you book a commission for August ‘25, we will have size and subject decisions made in July and I will spend August working on your painting. As long as it’s dry, you should receive the painting the first week of September.

If this is for a gift, I will email you a nicely designed printable to present to your loved one.

* This $150 deposit will reserve your spot to have a painting created this year and will be applied to your final balance. Depending on the size and framing you choose as well as shipping costs, there will be an additional balance to be paid before Rebecca ships your painting. You will be involved in all the decision making on all details that affect the total cost of the painting and Rebecca will not proceed without your approval.

How will this work?

  • Book a commission by reserving a month. This will be the month that I will create your painting. Then pay the reservation deposit. This will secure your place and will be applied to your final balance.

  • There’s no rush to choose the size or subject of your painting.

  • I will contact you shortly to touch base and make sure I understand your needs and see if you have a deadline for completion, etc.

  • If this is a gift, I will send you a printable that will share the good news with your loved one so you have something physical to gift.

  • About one month prior to your reserved month, we will begin talking through your options such as what you would like to have painted and a size that fits your budget.

  • You can pay the balance after a price is agreed upon. This step must be completed before your painting is shipped.

  • I will share photographs of the process with you to be sure I am creating just what you have in mind.

  • Once the painting is completely dry, framed and your balance and shipping costs have been paid, I will ship your painting to you, your loved one or deliver locally!

Questions you may have:

  • Do I need to choose the size and subject now? No. There’s no rush right now to choose your size or subject. We can discuss this closer to your reserved month and find a size that works for your wall space and your budget.


  • Can you paint from a photograph? Yes! Though I normally work from life when painting still lifes, I can also paint from a photograph. I prefer to use an ipad so any digital image will do and you won’t have the hassle of printing.


  • What subjects will you paint? I can paint any subject that is similar to something I’ve painted before. I can assemble and paint an arrangement of your favorite objects, flowers, landscapes and skyscapes. I will also paint pet portraits as well.


  • Can you help me make these decisions? Yes! If you have no ideas at all but are sure you want a painting, I would love to help you arrive at the perfect painting by chatting and dreaming. I can help you with subjects and colors that would fit your home and help you choose a frame.
