My Favorite Thought
Last week we had a full gray sky. It looked like it was raining ahead. And then I saw a little opening that gave a glimpse of blue sky beyond the clouds. It was a great reminder of a metaphor I’ve heard before - that the gray sky (hard times in our lives) it not all that’s there. Beyond the bleak clouds before us, the sky is still blue and the sun still shines (the Lord, His promises and our future with Him). Just sometimes we can’t see or feel it.
