It feels as though all living things are taking one final deep breath in preparation and expectation of the coming winter. The appearance of slight color in seemingly black and white photographs is the trademark for this body of work and gives an indication that winter has not yet completely arrived.

A Prelude for Winter was photographed during one afternoon of quiet discovery in Haddon Heights Park, New Jersey and is the first body of work to be photographed in Haddon Heights by Rebecca Finch.
